Plantar Fasciitis Online
What Is Plantar Fasciitis?
The plantar fascia is a supportive band of tough fibrous tissue connecting the heel bone (calcaneus) and toes (metatarsals). Plantar meaning underneath. Fasciitis is the inflammation of the tissue surrounding the fascia.
Fascia is inelastic fibrous tissue. Being inelastic means precisely that, it does not stretch. It is not ligament, tendon or muscle.
Plantar fascial pain is a micro-fibre tear in this strong, sinuous tissue. A plantar fascial tear is one of medical history's most misunderstood and poorly treated foot ailments.
What Causes Plantar Fascia Tears?
In the majority of cases the source of stress on the plantar fascia is a deviation inward of the Calcaneus (heel bone) at ground strike. This, our specialists discovered, occurs in over 90% of people with acute heel pain. As feet roll in (pronate) joints in the foot structure unlock preventing the arch’s ability to fully support your body. In nearly all cases there is excess load on the inelastic fascia. Eventually the plantar fascia becomes inflamed and microfibre tears (Plantar Fasciitis) result.
Current Plantar Fasciitis theory promotes lifestyle causes such as age, weight, time spent on your feet, poor footwear, hard surfaces, bare feet etc… as the cause of Plantar Fasciitis. These are NOT the cause of Plantar Fasciitis. At most, they are contributing factors to the existing root source. These daily lifestyle factors simply add to the excess load, gradually increasing the stress levels on the plantar fascia.
Tension first thing in the morning (getting out of bed) immediately pulls on the cold contracted plantar fascia causing pain. A similar reaction will occur after sitting still for a lengthy period of time.
Plantar Fascia Pain Can Be Cured
For over 20 years we successfully treated 15,000+ patients with mild, acute and chronic Plantar fasciitis in three specialist Heel Pain Clinics. The largest specialist practice in Australia.
Our Online Treatment Program is the extension of a proven clinical in-house program. Now a self-managed home plan, saving you valuable time, travel and expenditure.
Many sufferers had various constraints and could not consult with us in person. After the COVID-19 pandemic, we agreed our specialised treatment plan should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances or location.
We learned from thousands of patients the first step in successfully curing Plantar fascial tears is to ensure the sufferer fully understands the ailment and its source. This new approach allows individuals to take control of their recovery journey, ensuring their daily activities and lifestyle assist and support the healing process.
A major problem in the treatment of Plantar Fasciitis over the last 25 years has been misleading treatments:
Rolling feet over ice bottles or cans
Calf muscle step stretches
Massaging the arch
Arch support orthotics
Pulling toes back
Soft flexible shoes
Shockwave therapy
Heat
Cortisone injections
There is no proven efficacy or medical evidence of the long-term benefits of these treatments. In many cases these old theories can aggravate the ailment. (See FAQ’s). Successfully curing Plantar Fasciitis requires an immediate cessation of all incorrect treatments.
Collating valuable feedback from thousands of patients over the years, we developed a strict personalised Daily Program that addresses all aspects of time spent on feet as well as general lifestyle factors. This program is designed to ensure optimal recovery and management of plantar fasciitis. Our program covers early morning pain, footwear, workplace, activities, sports and the “do’s and don’ts” of managing Plantar fascial tears.
For many years it was believed arch supports (orthotics) were a solution. Unfortunately, arch-support orthotics press upwards into the plantar fascia creating even more strain. After extensive international research, we discovered a biomechanically proven engineering support method to control the heel position. Experts in biomechanics understand heels control the arch. This led to our unique Inverted Calcaneus Device (ICD) insoles (Kraedl).
A combination of the strict personalised Daily Program assisted by Kraedl insoles resolved over 90% of Plantar fasciitis cases. With outstanding results.
This highly effective Kraedl Treatment Plan is now available for home use regardless of your geographic location or the severity of pain, allowing sufferers of Plantar Fasciitis to access relief conveniently and effectively.
We are so confident in the Kraedl Plan we back it with a 90-day Money Guarantee (See FAQs)
In addition, we have a Helpline to guide you through the frustrating healing process. The objective is to provide a permanent cure.
The Kraedl Treatment Plan is not a magic cure for plantar fascial tears. Depending on how long you have been suffering it may take several weeks for the healing process to complete.
